The CfSWP adopted its new constitution at its AGM on 28th September 2012 in preparation for becoming a charity. It was updated at an SGM on the 19th April 2013 to alter it’s objects to better fit with Charity Commission expectations and again at the AGM of 13th September 2013 to allow for the appointment of a Deputy Chair. The constitution as amended following the AGM on 23rd May 2014 can be downloaded below.
The constitution is the organisations governing document and is based on a format provided by the Charity Commission. It provides structure and guidance on how the trustees need to govern the Centre as a charity and on such issues as appointing trustees and calling AGM’s.
Members can use the constitution to better understand how the organisation is run and what part they can have in this.
