Dr Amanda Lees - May 2019 – May 2019

This document reports findings from the second phase evaluation of Reflective Practice Groups (RPGs) for staff working within Brighton and Hove Local Authority Children’s Services.

The second phase evaluation ran between November 2018 and March 2019. It follows from a first phase evaluation of RPGs which was conducted in November 2015-July 2016. The second phase evaluation has afforded a valuable opportunity to consider the effects of RPGs over the longer term within the local authority.

A smaller scale evaluation than that of the first phase, its specific objectives were:

Objective 1: To identify any changes to the model of RPG delivery in the second phase of the project Objective 2: To identify the perceived effects of these changes for participants and the organisation Objective 3: To identify outcomes for individual participants and any wider organisational impacts across the project.
